Chinking appeals to the cosmetic look of your home as well as protecting it from moisture, rot, pests, and heat loss. Quality chinking is essential to keeping heat locked into your home and keeping drafts out. We provide two chinking styles and can match any color to ensure the look you want and the protection you need for your home.
- Traditional chinking utilizes a larger bead and a fortified sealant to create the classic log cabin look with sturdy protection. Traditional chinking is recommended for any logs ten inches round or more.
- Hide-a-bead chinking using Energy Seal™ log sealant matched to the color of your stain. This creates a perfect seal without being seen.

Glass Media Blasting
We use media blasting because it is the best known abrasive for removing stain, paint, and oil while raising the least amount of wood grain. Glass media is an environmentally friendly product made entirely from recycled glass. This product leaves little to no residue on logs providing for a fast and easy cleanup. Glass media removes everything from charred and burned wood to the simplest of oils revealing the natural wood grain beneath.Log Rot Repair
